The Wound Just Changed. (And Your Business Felt It.)

Chiron, the asteroid astrologers call the wounded healer, moves into Taurus today, June 19, 2026, for the first time since 1984. After eight years working on identity wounds in Aries, the healing focus shifts to worth, money, the body, and what we actually value. This transit runs through September 17, 2026 as a preview, then settles in for good on April 14, 2027, staying through 2033. If your business has felt strangely tangled up with your sense of value lately, not your strategy, not your offers, your worth, you are already in it.

I want to tell you something that happened about two months ago, because it has been living in my head rent-free ever since.

I was on a coaching call with one of my clients. A woman in her late forties who has been quietly, determinedly building her business for almost three years. Smart. Talented. Genuinely good at what she does. And completely unable to charge what her work is worth.

We had talked about pricing before. Multiple times. She understood, intellectually, that she was undercharging. She could make the case for raising her rates better than I could.

And still. Every time she went to send a proposal, the number she typed was smaller than the one we had agreed on.

I asked her where that came from. The smaller number.

She was quiet for a second. Then she said: "My mom always said people like us don't get to want too much."

People like us.

There it is.

What Chiron Actually Is (Without the Mystical Hand-Waving)

Today, Chiron moves into Taurus for the first time since 1984.

If you are not familiar with Chiron: it is an asteroid that functions in astrology as a marker for your deepest unhealed wound. And, critically, the place where that wound eventually becomes your most useful skill. Wherever Chiron is transiting, that is the territory getting poked. The pattern resurfacing. The thing you thought you had dealt with showing back up in a new outfit.

The myth behind it is almost too on-the-nose for a business coaching blog: Chiron was a centaur, a gifted healer and teacher, who took a poisoned arrow to the leg and could not heal himself. He spent his life teaching others out of his own wound, and eventually traded his immortality to free Prometheus from his chains.

He could not fix himself. But he became the greatest mentor of the ancient world.

In astrology, wherever Chiron sits in your chart, and wherever it is transiting in the sky, you find the thing that keeps getting poked. The pattern that resurfaces right when you think you have dealt with it. The wound does not go away. You just stop organizing your whole life around protecting it.

What We Have Been Healing Since 2018

Chiron entered Aries on April 17, 2018, and has been working on collective wounds tied to self-identity ever since. Aries is the I AM sign. The warrior. The one who takes up space and says I exist, I matter, I am here.

Eight years of that. Eight years of: Who am I, actually, when I strip away what everyone else expects of me? Do I have the right to take up this much space? What happens when I let myself be seen and someone does not like it? Am I allowed to want this?

For women in their second season, the ones building businesses after decades of shrinking and accommodating and doing it someone else's way, the Chiron in Aries chapter hit differently. It was eight years of slowly, stubbornly learning that your identity was allowed to lead. That you did not need permission to be the version of yourself that had been waiting.

That chapter is wrapping up. A new one opened today.

What Chiron in Taurus Is Actually Asking

Taurus rules worth. Resources. Money. The body. What you actually value and whether you believe you deserve to receive it.

The shift from Aries to Taurus is the shift from I am allowed to exist to I am allowed to be well-resourced for existing.

And here's what I keep coming back to, because I think it matters for every woman building a second season business right now:

You can do all the identity work in the world. You can claim your voice, show up consistently, build the thing, post the content, survive the visibility hangover. And still have a completely broken relationship with being paid for it.

Still find yourself typing a smaller number than the one you agreed on. Still launching at a discount you did not actually intend to offer. Still explaining your rates before anyone even asked you to justify them.

That is not a strategy problem. That is a worth wound. And Chiron in Taurus is here, for the next seven years with a short preview this summer, to surface it. Not to punish you. Not to make things harder. To pull the splinter out.

What This Means for Your Second Season Business

The Chiron in Taurus transit runs in two phases. The preview runs from June 19 to September 17, 2026. Pay attention to what surfaces around money, pricing, and your sense of what you deserve to earn this summer. These early signals point toward the deeper work. The full transit begins April 14, 2027 and runs through 2033. Seven years of collective and personal recalibration around worth, resources, and values.

The work most relevant to second season solopreneurs building online businesses right now: pricing that reflects actual worth rather than fear of being told no, releasing the ancestral money is scarce and not for people like us programming, building a business that is genuinely life-friendly rather than one that punishes you for having a body with limits, and healing the disconnect between what you believe intellectually (I provide real value) and what you charge emotionally (the number that feels safe enough that they will not push back).

The Chiron in Aries work was about believing you were allowed to show up. The Chiron in Taurus work is about believing you are allowed to be well paid for it. Different work. Same woman. Next chapter.

Frequently Asked Questions About Chiron in Taurus

When exactly does Chiron enter Taurus?

Chiron enters Taurus on June 19, 2026, today as of this post. It stays through September 17, 2026, then retrogrades back into Aries for a final review period before returning to Taurus permanently on April 14, 2027.

How is this different from Chiron in Aries?

Chiron in Aries, from 2018 to 2026, worked on wounds around identity: the right to exist, to assert yourself, to take up space. Chiron in Taurus shifts the focus to worth. Do you believe you are worthy of abundance? It illuminates wounds around money, the body, and what you truly value.

Who feels this transit most strongly?

Anyone with Taurus prominent in their chart, Sun, Moon, Rising, or significant personal planets, will feel this most directly. People born between 1976 and 1983 are approaching their Chiron Return, making this an especially significant healing window. But given how many women in business carry unexamined money wounds, this one is broadly relevant.

Is this going to feel bad?

Chiron transits surface things, which means yes, some things that have been quietly running the show may get louder before they get quieter. Think of it less as a wound being ripped open and more as a splinter finally getting pulled. It might sting for a second. And then it is out.

What should I actually do with this information?

Notice what has been quietly running your business decisions around money. Not the strategy layer, the feeling layer. The place where you quote a price and immediately feel like you have to justify it. That is your entry point.

You Are Right On Time

My student raised her rates two weeks after that call. Not because I told her to. Because she finally heard herself say people like us out loud, and she did not recognize herself in it anymore.

That is the Chiron move. You cannot heal what you cannot see. And sometimes the wound has to get loud enough to name before you can do anything useful with it.

If something is surfacing for you right now around money, pricing, what you charge, what you believe you deserve: pay attention to it. Not with dread. With curiosity.

It is not a sign you are broken. It is a sign the work is beginning.

And you are right on time.
